Welcome to the Curie Piano Studio website! This studio, located in Pickerington,
Ohio, provides excellent piano instruction for piano students of all ages and levels
of ability. In turn, we ask that our students come to each lesson with a positive
attitude and an eagerness to learn!
Musical opportunities abound at this studio. Along with private lessons, students
may participate in studio classes, master classes, studio recitals, and National
Piano Guild Auditions. The enjoyment these music activities offer has encouraged many
former students to continue their music studies at the collegiate level; some have
graduated from college with music degrees to become music teachers and performers
themselves!
Why take piano lessons? Music is such an integral part of our society; we hear it
in the car, in shopping centers, t.v., movies, video games, even at sporting events!
Music study can develop a person’s self-esteem, ability to focus, and self-discipline.
Research has even clearly shown that music education can help a child’s academic
performance. Whether you are a parent interested in music lessons for a child, a
retiree looking for new avenues of interest to pursue, or a busy mom who would enjoy
