Her piano instructors were Carolyn Wachtman (Pickerington, Ohio), Verena Dambrans (Capital University), and Steven Glaser (The Ohio State University). Early career experiences include teaching elementary music at the Grandview Heights schools and conducting the Columbus Youth Choir at Capital University's Community Music School. 

Active as a pianist, she has performed in master classes for renowned pianists Jerome Rose, Richard Fields, Lorin Hollander, and Emanuel Ax, and has accompanied many instrumentalists, vocalists, and choral groups including the Columbus Children's Choir, The Ohio State University Chorale, and Opera Columbus Outreach Program.

Ms. Curie currently maintains a private piano studio in Blacklick, Ohio, is Director of Youth Choirs at All Saints Lutheran Church in Worthington, Ohio, and is an accompanist for the Hilliard Bradley High School and Otterbein University choral departments.
